The Bang Awards Festival is back, once again placing Torres Vedras at the epicenter of cinema animation!
Submissions are now officially open for the 8th edition of Bang Awards – International Animation Film Festival, a landmark event that has established its importance within the animation landscape, both nationally and internationally.
Held every two years, the festival plays a fundamental role in encouraging artistic creation, experimentation, and the development of new audiences. Throughout its editions, it has become a privileged meeting point for creators, industry professionals, and viewers, contributing to the growth and recognition of animation cinema.
The inspiring theme of this edition is“Youmanization”, an invitation to reflect on the need to humanize — relationships, cities, technology, and the future itself. Artists are also challenged to explore new narratives and perspectives that place human beings at the center of creation.

The festival will take place from September 25 to 27, in Torres Vedras, featuring a diverse program that includes workshops, talks, video mapping, and the participation of national and international artists.
